Brandon Kuhre is an associate attorney at Zar Law. Brandon focuses his practice on personal injury cases, insurance disputes, and commercial litigation. His experience with personal injury cases ranges from motor vehicle collisions to catastrophic losses and wrongful death claims. Brandon routinely represents both residential and commercial policyholders in insurance coverage disputes. He has both trial-level and appellate experience in commercial litigation involving business torts and contract disputes. Brandon earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in May 2016.
During his time in law school, Brandon served as a Casenotes and Comments Editor for the Houston Journal of International Law. He received a Lex Award for earning the highest grade in his first-year legal writing and research class. Brandon also competed as a member of the Blakely Advocacy Institute Interscholastic Moot Court Team, winning two regional championships and earning a Top 10 Best Speaker Award in the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition. Brandon served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Vanessa Gilmore of the Southern District of Texas and the Honorable Frances Stacy of the Southern District of Texas. Prior to attending law school, Brandon earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Brigham Young University in 2012.
Brandon takes pride in representing his clients, protecting their best interests, and helping them navigate the complex and changing legal landscape. He also enjoys giving back to the legal community and currently serves as a volunteer coach for the University of Houston’s Blakely Advocacy Institute Interscholastic Moot Court Team.
